Thomas E. Davis, 90, of Myerstown, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Stone Ridge Retirement Center. He was the husband of Irene M. (Spangler) Corl Davis.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Aug. 8, 1934, Tom was a son of the late Aaron and Sara (Snyder) Davis.

Tom served in the United States Army as a military policeman. He was a retired printer for the Reading Eagle Co. and an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. He enjoyed bowling, helping with St. Cecilia’s fundraisers, and spending time with his family.

Tom is survived by his stepdaughter, Mary Jane Schlegel, wife of David Schlegel Sr.; stepgrandchildren, Eric, Ryan, Nathan, and Samantha Corl and David Schlegel Jr. and Daniel Schlegel; 10 step-great-grandchildren; and three step-great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Tom was preceded in death by his stepsons, Ernest and David Corl; brothers, Aaron and James Davis and Herman Good; and sisters, Patricia Steis and Mary Ann Weeks.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 126 S. 9th St., Lebanon, PA 17042. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Thomas’s name may be made to Our Lady of the Cross School, 1691 Grace Ave., Lebanon, PA 17046, or the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown, PA 17067.
