Thomas G. “Tom” Starry Jr., 81, of Myerstown, passed away at Cedar Haven on Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2024. He was the husband of Linda L. (Schneider) Starry, with whom he celebrated 48 years of marriage.

Tom, also known as “Yank” by his friends, was born in Watertown, CT, on Oct. 13, 1942, to the late Thomas G. Starry Sr. and Carrie (Bensing) Starry.

He worked in production at Bethlehem Steel until its closing and at Fairview Golf Course on the grounds crew after his time at Bethlehem Steel. He enjoyed golfing, traveling, and coaching youth sports.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his sons, Steve M. Starry (Misty), of Myerstown, Chad E. Meyer (Kendra), of Lebanon, Mike T. Starry, of Cleona, and Robert M. “Boo” Starry (Megan), of Lebanon; grandchildren, Mason, Tyler, Abby, Maddy, Lilly, Garrett, and Oliver; and brother, Jeffy Starry (Becky), of Lebanon.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
