Thomas P. “Tom” Swoyer, 88, of Lebanon, died on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2020, at Manor Care.

He was born on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 1932, to the late Samuel Swoyer and Mary Swoyer nee Meyer in Lebanon. He was a veteran of the Army in the Korean War, a graduate from Lebanon Catholic, and retired from Quaker Alloy. Tom enjoyed playing baseball and football in high school and later was a fan of the Phillies and Eagles. He umpired for Little League and enjoyed hunting.

Surviving are daughter, Sheila M. Folmer, and spouse, Michael; grandchildren, Michael Folmer, and spouse, Nicole, Elizabeth Meyer, and spouse, Randy, Cameron Kreiser, and spouse, Samantha; great-grandchildren, Maddisyn, Nathan, Karly, Dominic, Natalie, Isaiah, Ava, Cohen, Scarlett, Brennen, and Kayleigh; sisters, Dorothy Swoyer and Catherine Shubert. He was preceded in death by wife, Christine S. Swoyer nee Pickett; daughter, Jenean Kreiser; brothers, Samuel Swoyer, Herman Swoyer, Robert Swoyer, John Swoyer, Paul Swoyer, Joseph Swoyer, Charles Swoyer, and Carl Swoyer; and sisters, Mary Christ and Anne Swoyer.

Viewing will be on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Christman’s Funeral Home, Inc., 226 Cumberland St., Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Grand View Memorial Park, Annville, following the service.
