Thomas S. Willman, 74, of Lebanon, passed away on Friday, Nov. 29, 2024, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Barbara (Smith) Willman, who passed away in 2003.
Born in Lebanon, he was the son of the late Stephen and Magdalen (Blum) Willman.
He was a 1968 graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. Tom was self-employed most of his life. For many years, he created beautiful metal sculptures and participated in art shows along the East Coast. Later in life, he started his own landscaping business. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and antiques. His greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Tom was a lifetime member of St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church in Lebanon and attended mass several times a week when able.
Tom achieved over 34 years of sobriety and served as a mentor and sponsor to many individuals through his involvement with Alcoholics Anonymous. Even after years of sobriety, he prioritized his involvement in AA meetings. Tom was a “helper.” It is difficult to capture how many lives he touched through his caring outreach. Whether through offering guidance and support, financial assistance, or giving someone a place to stay, he was supportive of those in need.
He is survived by three daughters, Audrey, wife of David Fortna, Crystal, wife of Kris Turner, and Jennifer, wife of Tony Rutter; and seven grandchildren, Madison, Brayden, Adam, Tasia, Caleb, Melayna, and Javion.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2024, at 11 a.m. from St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church, 120 E. Lehman St., Lebanon. Inurnment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery. A visitation with his family will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of his Funeral Mass at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lebanon Fellowship House, which served as a pillar of strength and support for Tom. Checks should be made out to/sent to Lebanon Fellowship Treasurer, 334 E. Weidman St., Lebanon, PA 17046.
