Trevor Allen Binner, 20, of Palmyra, passed away in the M.S. Hershey Medical Center on Monday, August 30, 2021, as a result of an automobile accident. He was born Friday, October 27, 2000, in Lebanon to John C. and Sharon (Hoffman) Binner of Palmyra.
He graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2019 where he played football, baseball, and wrestled. He was in his junior year at Penn State Harrisburg majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. He was a member of Fontana United Christina Church where he was active in TLC-Teens Living for Christ and played on the United Christian Blue softball team; he also played Legion baseball for Campbelltown and travel baseball for the Renegades. He volunteered for 11 years with Lebanon County Special Olympics, enjoyed pick-up games of basketball and golfing with family and friends. His infectious smile and fun-loving personality will be missed by all.
He is survived by a brother, John C. Binner, of Palmyra; a niece, Grace P. Binner; a nephew, Tucker J. Binner; maternal grandparents, William H. Hoffman and wife Darlene, of Palmyra; paternal grandfather, Floyd Spangler; four uncles, Joseph Binner and wife Theresa, of Jonestown, Edward Spangler, of Carlisle, William H. Hoffman, Jr. and wife Kenda, of Schwenksville, Brian M. Hoffman and wife Sarah, of Phoenixville, and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Beverly Spangler.
A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 4th at Noon at Encounter Church of Palmyra, 220 Campbelltown Road, Palmyra, PA 17078. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Family and friends are invited for viewing from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra has been entrusted with the arrangements.
