Vanessa S. Brown, 62, of Lebanon, passed away at her residence on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020. She was the wife of Jay H. Brown, with whom she celebrated 12 years in marriage.
Vanessa was born in Lebanon on May 15, 1958, to Mary E. (Hoke) Miller, of Palmyra, and the late Van S. Miller, II. She was a Cedar Crest High School graduate. She had worked for over 30 years at Good Samaritan Hospital in the central supply department. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was involved with Women’s Group, a member of the Mission Team and on church council, helped with the church bizarre, and Power Pack lunch. She enjoyed crocheting, taking long walks and drives to look for deer, traveling around PA, and traveling on the train to North Dakota.
Surviving, in addition to her mother and her husband, is her step-sons, Jason Brown and Justin Brown, step-granddaughter, Aylisa, two step-great-granddaughters, Disini and Melody, her siblings, Patty, and her husband, Bruce Shepps, of Lebanon, Donna, and her husband, Michael Frankfort, of Myerstown, Van S. Miller III, of Lebanon, Dawn Tolbert-Stone, and her husband, Frank Stone, of Virginia, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Valerie Doeing, nephew, Andrew Doeing, and her great-niece, Danica Layser.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2020 from 10:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
