Verna G. Martin, age 97, of Bethel, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021. She was the wife of the late Melvin H. Martin.

Born June 2, 1924, in Lancaster County, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Mary (Gehman) Musser. Verna was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church of the Weaverland Conference.

She is survived by children, Luke husband of Rachel (Zimmerman) Martin and Lamar husband of Katie Martin, both of Potsdam, NY; Elva wife of Henry Martin, of Savannah, NY; Marian Martin, of Myerstown; Arlene wife of Leon Sadler and Jean wife of Leonard Martin, both of Bethel; Joan wife of Timothy Hoover, of Rome, PA; brother, Phares G. Musser,of Ephrata; 50 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 9:30 a.m. at Bethel Mennonite Church, 231 School Road, Myerstown, PA. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery. Viewing on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the church.
