Vicki L. DiNunzio, lovingly known as Vick, peacefully passed away at her home on Nov. 20, 2023. She was a remarkable woman who dedicated over 25 years of her life working in food service with Annville-Cleona High School.

Born on Feb. 22, 1960, in Lebanon, PA, to Charles Shay and Betty Lou Shay (Spotts), Vicki touched the lives of many through her unwavering commitment and kind-hearted nature.

Vicki’s love for her family and friends was unparalleled. She cherished every moment she spent with them and always made sure they felt loved and supported. Her devotion to her children was immeasurable, and they were the light of her life. Betsy Smith, and spouse, Shawn, Kelly DiNunzio, Amber DiNunzio, and Ryan DiNunzio were blessed to have Vicki as their mother. She adored her grandchildren Kieren, Aubrey, Aaliyah, Heath, and Weston with all her heart.

In addition to being an incredible mother and grandmother, Vicki was a beloved sister. Her siblings, Beverly, Cheryl, Wendi, Bonnie, Tim, and the late Mike meant the world to her. Her bond with them was rock solid and built on a lifetime of shared experiences and unbreakable love.

Vicki had a vibrant spirit that radiated joy wherever she went. She found immense pleasure in simple yet fulfilling activities such as bingo games, playing cards with friends and family, participating in raffles, and, above all else, spending quality time with her family. Her cheerful laughter would fill the room as she enjoyed these pastimes that brought her so much delight.

The impact Vicki had on those around her extended beyond her immediate family. Kevin Chernich was not only Vicki’s partner but also a pillar of strength throughout their journey together. Their love transcended boundaries and demonstrated the power of a supportive and nurturing partnership.

To honor the life of Vicki L. DiNunzio, her loved ones invite all who knew her or were touched by her presence to attend the visit at Christman’s Funeral Home Inc. in Lebanon, PA, on Nov. 27, 2023, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. A memorial service will follow from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m., at the same location. These events are an opportunity for everyone to share anecdotes and memories and celebrate the wonderful person Vicki was.
