Victoria J. “Vickie” Leone, 80, of Cornwall, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2025, at her home. She took her last breath peacefully with loved ones by her side.

Vickie was born in Hoboken, NJ, on Aug. 14, 1945, to the late James and Doris (Tett) Mackle. She was a true “Jersey Girl” who was proud of where she came from. She epitomized her Zodiac sign as a tough, feisty lioness and was very happy to share her birth month with her two sons. Vickie was a hard worker who spent most of her working life as a waitress and in-home childcare provider. She loved the kids for whom she cared and tried to treat them as if they were her own. She was like a second mom to many of them, as well as lots of the kids in the neighborhood. She was the “cool” mom who was always willing to give in a little to make sure they all had fun. She truly loved Little League Baseball and especially watching her sons play. Those were some of her happiest memories.

She ended her career as a manager at Walmart in Lebanon, where she met and befriended her daughter-in-law before she married her son. She was well-liked by everyone and made lifelong friends everywhere, whether it was at a job or playing online bingo with friends from other states. She enjoyed crocheting, playing games online, and watching TV. She had many pets over the years and loved animals in general.

She is survived by her sons, Scott J., husband of Tara Leone, of Cornwall, and Michael W., husband of Becky Leone, of Newmanstown; the father of her sons and close friend, Louis P., husband of Ann M. Leone, of Lebanon; uncle, William Tett, of Santa Rosa, CA; three grandchildren; one cat; and countless friends who will all sadly miss her.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
