Violet V. Taylor, 88, of Ono, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Cedar Haven. She was the wife of the late Nelson F. Taylor.

Born in Whitehall, VA on July 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Melvin and Virginia Via Garrison.

She retired from Indiantown Gap where she had been a custodian. She attended the Ono United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son Randolph husband of Wanda Taylor of Ono; daughters Rosemarie Howell of Palmyra and Sheila Tesno of Blain; brother Moses husband of Linda Garrison of Palmyra; sisters Lucille wife of Galen Clugston of Hershey and Suzanne wife of Robert Hoffman of the Outer Banks, NC; eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers Raymond and Roosevelt Garrison and sisters Genevieve Lehman and Betty Martin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Rt. 72 & Camp Meeting Rd., Jonestown. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Salem Evangelical Cemetery, Ono
