Virginia Jean Brown, 92, of Annville, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2025, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Claude M. Brown, who passed away in 2024.
Virginia was born in Cleona on March 2, 1933, to the late Herman and Rachel (Goff) Imboden. She was a seamstress/machine operator for Weaver Garment Company. Virginia was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Cleona. She enjoyed knitting, baking, gardening, sewing, and cooking.
She is survived by her children, Donna J. Bingaman (David), of Annville, Timothy W. Brown (Stephanie), of Lebanon, and James M. Brown, of Annville; grandchildren, Angie, Courtney, Brad, Alexis, Chelsea, Koye, and Liana; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her grandson; great-granddaughter; and siblings, John Imboden, Herman Imboden, Thomas Imboden, Anna M. DiStefano, Harriet White, Eleanor Ulrich, and Edith Garrett.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at 11 a.m., at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be with her late husband, Claude, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
