Vivian P. Gerhart, 86, of Myerstown, and formerly of Womelsdorf, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021, at StoneRidge Poplar Run, Myerstown. She was the wife of the late Harold M. Gerhart.

Born in Jefferson Twp., Berks Co., on Oct.17, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Oscar I., Jr., and Lillian Kramer Manbeck. Vivian worked as a reflexologist, and, along with her husband, they were foster parents to numerous children.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lebanon and was involved with the Hope & Crisis Ministry at the Church. She was also a member of the Marion Senior Citizens, the Blue Mt. 50+ Club, Bethel, the PA Reflexologist Assn., and the Pennsilfaanisch Deitsch Dialect & Culture Society. She was an avid gardener and a collector of owls and wrought iron.

She is survived by her son, Michael H. husband of Connie Gerhart, of Ephrata, daughter Beverly J. wife of Ernest Allen, of Lebanon, brother, Harold husband of Gloria Manbeck, of Womelsdorf, four grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Joshua McHenry and sisters, Anna Troutman and Mary Zechman.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 20 Linden Rd., Lebanon. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no viewing. A visitation will be held following the service. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Masks will be required.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church.
