Walter H. “Hank” Perry Jr., 80, of Bethel, PA, died on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, at the VA Medical Center, Lebanon. He was the husband of Anna-Lisa (Johl) Fabian, to whom he was married for three years on Feb. 14, 2025.
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, on Feb. 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Cordelia (Kwiatkowski) Perry.
A 1963 graduate of Roselle Park High School, he also graduated from Penn State University in 1989, receiving his BS in public policy. Walter served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Walter was a member of the DAV and the American Legion Post 60, Roselle Park, NJ. He enjoyed doing genealogy.
In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by his daughters, Karen, wife of Steve Rinehart, of Waller, TX, and Laura Perry, of Elizabethtown; grandchildren, Taylor, Hunter, and Lilly Rinehart, and Elicia, Madelen, Michael, Andrew, and Nicholas Brunner; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Sophia, Chester; and his friends to the end, Vito Farella, Jimmy Tassitano, and Fred Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Scuderi; and brothers, Frederick, Chester, and William Perry.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 12 p.m., at Grose Funeral Home, 358 W. Washington Ave., Myerstown, preceded by a viewing beginning at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
