Walter K. “Walt” Morris, 94, of Palmyra, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at Country Meadows in Hershey. He was the loving husband of Jane L. (Hicks) Morris, with whom he celebrated 35 years of marriage.

Walter was born in Pottsville on Jan. 25, 1930, to the late Lillian Ginther.

He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Walter was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a civil engineer for Gannett Fleming in Harrisburg. He was a member of St. Joan of Arc in Hershey. Walter loved golfing, visiting the shore, and watching his favorite college football team, the Nittany Lions.

Surviving are his sons, Craig Morris, of Virginia, and Erich Miller, and his wife, Natalie, of Virginia; and grandson, Josef Miller.

A service will be held privately.
