Warren E. Kern, 80, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at his home.

Born in Lebanon on Oct. 20, 1944, he was the son of the late Elmer and Arnetta Kern.

He was a graduate from Annville-Cleona High School with the Class of 1962. Following high school, he served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Warren retired from the Navy Depot in Mechanicsburg after 29 years of service. He was a member of the North Ward Social Club. He was an avid Phillies and enjoyed attending their games. He also liked the Dallas Cowboys. He loved all animals, especially his German Shepherd.

He is survived by his caregiver and companion, Mary Louise (Atkins) Krall; sister, Tammy, wife of Charles Gerhardt, of Myerstown; niece, Shawn, wife of Patrick Kreiser, of Newmanstown; nephew, Kyle, husband of Kim Gerhardt, of FL; and several great-nieces and -nephews.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will be leaving the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown, at 10 a.m.
