Warren W. “Rocky” Emerich, Jr., 74, of Annville passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at The Lebanon VA Medical Center.
Warren was born in Lebanon on December 23, 1947, to the late Warren W. Emerich, Sr., and Frances (Sutton) Emerich.
He attended Lebanon High School and received his diploma in the Army. He was a proud US Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division.
He was an avid golfer! Warren loved setting up his many large train displays, traveling to Myrtle Beach and various places, visiting National Memorials, and paying his respects to veterans at the National Cemetery. He loved being an umpire, coach, and referee. Being in the restaurant business for many years, he loved to serve and help others. His latest enjoyment was being the Resident Manager at Quitaphilla Commons where he resided. Cooking, organizing social events, yard sales and being a wonderful friend to that community brought so much happiness.
Warren was a family-oriented person who loved our large family gatherings, celebrations, picnics, and playing Santa for all the kids. He was widely known for sharing his wealth of stories. Spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Alexis, and Anthony brought him the most joy.
Surviving is a daughter, Jennifer L. Weaber (David) of Lebanon, a son, Kevin W. Emerich (Angel) of Enola, and siblings, Belinda Emerich, Eloise Noel, Marian Illiano (Aniello), Michael Emerich, Uncles David Sutton, Kenneth Sutton, Rodger Sutton, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents Frances (Sutton) Emerich and Warren W. Emerich Sr., and brothers, Luther Emerich, Thomas Emerich, and Randall Emerich.
