Wayne E. Cover, 73, of Hollywood, FL, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at the Bruce W. Carter VA Medical Center, Miami, FL.
Born in Baltimore, MD, on May 17, 1950, he was the son of the late James A. and Dorothy J. (Lewis) Cover.
He served 25 years in the United States Army as an engineer and served during the Gulf War. He was a master carpenter and a loving son, brother, and father.
He is survived by his daughter, Candace Cover Jones, and son-in-law, Adam Jones; brothers, Leon Cover, D. Dean Cover, and Wendel Cover; and sisters, Retha Stiles and Grace Thomas.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2023, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. A procession will form at 9:45 a.m. at Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, Jonestown.
