Wendy Runkel DeLuca, 71, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on April 2, 2025. She was the wife of Russell DeLuca, whom she married in 1992.

Born in Lebanon, PA, on Feb. 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late J. Richard Runkel and Marie S. Dorsch, of Cornwall, PA. Wendy was a 1972 graduate of Cedar Crest High School and a 1976 graduate of Lycoming College.

Wendy was an incredibly creative person. Starting off with a stand at the Lebanon Farmer’s Market, she and her partner launched a successful catering business and a small bistro, Good Taste Restaurant in Lebanon, serving specialty lunch items and desserts. She then became a professional manicurist, opening up her own salon, Nail Detail, for several years. In addition, she personally designed and made her own jewelry, which she sold to family and friends, and she had a passion for gardening, cats, golf, and traveling.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her mother, Marie S. Dorsch, of Cornwall, PA; sisters, Tracy R. Gray, of Hunt Valley, MD, and Amy R. Trefsgar, of Pinehurst, NC; as well as a niece and several nephews.
