Willard B. “Jake” Jacobs Jr., 75, of Manheim, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the MS Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Sandra F. “Sandy” (Heimbach) Jacobs, with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Willard was born in Allentown on Oct. 26, 1950, to the late Willard B. and Gladys A. (Schuler) Jacobs. He graduated from Upper Perkiomen High School in 1968. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, having served with the 1st Cavalry Division. He was a weaver for Bally Ribbon Mills in Bally, PA, until his retirement in 2019.
He was a member of New Goshenhoppen UCC in East Greenville, PA. He was also a member of the Hereford Gun Club, Dela-Ches Fishing Association, and Elstonville Gun Club, American Legion Post 232, and was a volunteer with the East Greenville Fire Company for many years. Jake enjoyed watching NASCAR, going on cruises with his wife, Sandy, and hunting and fishing. A great love of his was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter and three great-grandsons.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his granddaughter, Amber (Jacobs) Smith; great-grandsons, Bryce, Rylan, and Greyson; and brother, Donald Jacobs, and his wife, Nancy, of East Greenville. He is also survived by eight nieces and nephews and 12 great-nieces and -nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at 11 a.m. at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment with military honors will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
