William “Bill” E. Fleischer, PE, 77, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully from complications of Multiple Sclerosis on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Cornwall Manor.

Bill was born in Lebanon on June 28, 1948, to the late Mary Elizabeth (Embich) and Neil E. Fleischer. He was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School. He graduated as valedictorian from Penn State University-Harrisburg with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.

Bill was employed at Moore Engineering Company in 1979 and worked his way up to VP and then president/CEO and owner of the company. He eventually retired in 2016. Bill took great pride in his work and the company he helped build, and enjoyed hearing that the business was doing well up until his death. He was a respected professional in the engineering and architectural communities.

Throughout his adult life, Bill traveled and saw many parts of the world. He and his wife were avid cruisers, and their favorite place to visit was Europe, specifically Italy, where they often took the liberty of leisurely exploring all the sights, sounds, and flavors the country had to offer. In addition, he and his wife enjoyed spending the winter months in Vail, Colorado.

Some of Bill’s favorite activities over the years were oil painting, weightlifting, and being an avid trader in the stock market, as well as watching his grandchildren’s sporting events and concerts. He was a collector of knives and watches, which he added to throughout his travels. He was also a member of the Faith Baptist Church in Lebanon.

Bill is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 54 years, Sharon (Yingst) Fleischer; their sons, Bill M. (Jeneen) Fleischer and Andrew (Alisha) Fleischer; grandchildren, Max (17), Miles (15), Rowan (15), and Hadley (11); and brothers, Neil and David Fleischer.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the MS Society. A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced on RohlandFH.com.
