William C. “Bill” Atkins, 65, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2021, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He was the husband of Judith L. “Judy” Meily Atkins. On June 14, 2020, they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary.
Born in Lebanon on Aug. 6, 1955, he was the son of Russel and Irene Houtz Atkins, of Annville. He was the owner/operator of Atkins Auto Transport. Bill was a member of the Lebanon Valley Tractor Pullers Association. He enjoyed woodworking and, especially, spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and his parents, he is survived by his sons, Daniel J., husband of Stephanie Atkins, of Lebanon, and Andrew J. Atkins, of Lebanon, his daughters, Wendy Jo, wife of Rodney Weber, of Lebanon, Billie Jo, wife of Stephen Kramer, of Elizabethtown, and Samantha Jo, wife of Justin Brown, of Lickdale, his brothers, Jim Atkins, of Lebanon, Rick Atkins, of Lebanon, and Phillip Atkins, of Emmaus, his sister, Pat Bachman, of Lebanon, and 11 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Hall of the Cleona Camp Grove, 3854 Hill Church Rd., Lebanon, PA 17046. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
