William H. “Bill” Stalnecker, 84, of Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at his residence. He was the husband of Gail L. (McKinney) Stalnecker, with whom he had just celebrated 67 years of marriage.
Bill was born in Lebanon on March 29, 1939, to the late John William and Eileen (Triest) Stalnecker.
He owned and operated Stalnecker Auto Sales in Lebanon, where he was a mechanic and car dealer. Bill was a Masonic member of the Mt. Olivet Lodge 704 in Lebanon and a member of the Union Hose Fire Company in Annville. He was a member of AOPA, Airplane Owners and Pilot Association, and loved flying his Bonanza airplane. He loved attending airshows, flying with his family and friends, going to Oshkosh, WI, for their airshows, and watching his Westerns on TV. Bill was an avid antique collector, collecting and fixing up antique cars, clocks, and jukeboxes. Bill will be missed by his family and friends, with whom he made many memories.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is his children, Cathy L. Dupler (Jim), Wendy Jo Barto, William J. Stalnecker, and Brian E. Stalnecker, all of Lebanon; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Stalnecker.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 2 PM at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 618 E. Main St., Annville. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. There will be a Masonic Service at 1:45 PM. There will be a viewing from 12:45 PM – 1:45 PM at the funeral home.
