William J. “Bill” Godlevski, 87, of Lebanon, PA, passed away peacefully on Dec. 31, 2025, while surrounded by his loving family.
Born on July 29, 1938, in Sunbury, PA, to the late James and Minnie (Neidig) Godlevski, William was known for his warm spirit, dedication to family, and love of life. William was a veteran of the Army and a skilled bindery worker in the printing industry, where he applied his strong work ethic and attention to detail. He found joy in simple pleasures, from his fascination with trains and the calming beauty of Bob Ross paintings to the soul-stirring tones of country music.
William is survived by his beloved spouse, Shirley (Umberger) Godlevski; daughters, Melissa Godlevski and Amy Godlevski; grandcat, Panda; sister-in-law, Linda Godlevski; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: brother, Robert Godlevski, brother, Larry Godlevski, sister, Anna Schell, sister, Dorothy Lebo, along with their respective spouses, brother-in-law, Larry Schell, and brother-in-law, William Lebo.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate William’s life and legacy. A public viewing will be held on Jan. 7, 2026, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Graveside services will be private.
