William O. “Bill” Weik, 94, of Lebanon, died on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at VA Medical Center.

He was born on Thursday, June 28, 1928, to the late Harry P. Weik and Dorothy Weik nee Hoffman in Lebanon.

He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Navy in World War II. He was a 1946 graduate of Lebanon High School, a bolt maker at Bethlehem Steel with 33 years of employment, and a DB Fisher school bus driver from 1983-2008. Bill was the 4th Turn Gatekeeper at Penn National, Scout Master for Troop #46 for 65 years, and founding member of Camp Bashore.

Surviving are children, Rebecca MacMillan, and spouse, Donald, and William S. Weik, and spouse, Tracey; grandchildren, Amanda Stromoski, and spouse, Anthony, Rachel Huryn, and spouse, Brian, and Megan Brown; great-grandchildren, Natalie Huryn, Alexander Huryn, Chloe Huryn, Ava Brown, and Cade Brown; and brother, Jon Weik.

He was preceded in death by wife, Joyce Weik nee Spangler; sisters, Geraldine Basselgia, Gloria Fraytic, Merrie Burke, and Ferne Kreider; and brother, Griffith Weik.

Visitation will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 9 AM to 10 AM at Covenant United Methodist Church, 346 N. 9th Street, Lebanon. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 10 AM at the church. Burial will be at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, with full military honors, following the service.
