William W. Leeper, 80, of Jonestown, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 1, 2025. He was the devoted husband of the late Darlene D. Leeper, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Lebanon on March 22, 1945, William was the son of the late Herman W. and Bessie E. Wagner Leeper.

He worked for Henry Molded Products, Sterling Drug, Mid-Atlantic Canners, and Kraft before retiring from the Annville-Cleona School District in 2010. He was a member of the Lebanon Bible Fellowship Church, where he served as an usher for many years. He also attended Calvary Chapel Lebanon. He had a deep love for the Lord and enjoyed attending church as well as watching services online. He found joy in reading the Bible, which he faithfully read through many times over the years. William loved his family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them.

He was a wonderful father to Julie A., wife of Chris Muritz, of Jonestown. He was a caring and thoughtful grandfather to his grandchildren, Alex and Emma, whom he cherished and loved spending time with. He is also survived by his brother, Frank R., husband of Barbara Leeper, of Manheim.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Herman, Morris, Harold “Nick,” and Charles Leeper; and sisters, Bessie Stamm, Ruby Leeper, Ethel Kohr, and Charlotte Kohr.

The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Calvary Chapel, 740 Willow St., Lebanon. A viewing will begin at 6 p.m. until the start of the service. Interment will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Host Church Cemetery, 80 Host Church Road, Bernville.
