William W. “Bill” Neuman, 94, passed into the presence of our Lord on Jan. 5, 2026, in Coeur d’Alene, ID.

Bill was born on Dec. 28, 1931, in a railroad boxcar in Cataldo, ID. When he was a youngster, he moved to Coeur d’Alene, where his father was the superintendent of parks for the City of Coeur d’Alene. Bill had many fond memories growing up where the beach, Tubbs Hill, and the Civic Auditorium were his playground. Bill had many jobs, interesting jobs, from being a miner in Burke, ID, a police officer in San Diego, CA, a teacher in Washington, D.C., and a safety officer for a large sand and gravel company.

When Bill was not working or telling stories, he loved to travel the world and pet every dog he could. After the passing of his wife in 2021, Bill moved back to Coeur d’Alene, where he enjoyed family gatherings and visiting with friends. Bill will be greatly missed by his family and friends, who always enjoy hearing stories from his many adventures.

He is survived by his children, Larry Neuman (Lynda) and Linda Crockwell (Frank); grandchildren, Heidi Dixon (Dan), Tyana Elliott, Jenny Frank (Don), Rachel Neuman, Ben Neuman (Paloma), and Besty Larin (Marvin); numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; half-brother, Don Pishner and Jim Neuman; half-sister, Darlene Kimball; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Richard Neuman; and grandson, Christopher Neuman.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Condolences to the family at englishfuneralchapel.com.
