William W. Winner Jr., 91, of Palmyra and formerly of Elizabethtown, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Kadima Nursing and Rehabilitation at Palmyra.
Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late William W. Sr. and Helen Kloss Winner. William was the loving husband of the late Laura E. Hoover Winner. He proudly graduated from Greenville High School before beginning his career in the trucking industry, first at McLane Company and later at Kreider Farms, Manheim.
William enjoyed watching sports, rooting for his favorite teams, the Cleavland Browns and the Philadelphia Phillies. Bowling was another love of William’s, as well as pulling alongside the road with his wife, Laura, to get a glimpse of a good softball game. He loved to listen to country music and found the time to slow down in life when traveling to the shore.
Surviving are his sons, Ricky Winner, and his significant other, Karen Enck, Randy Winner, and Rodney, husband of Tammy Winner; six grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Jesse and David Winner.
At William’s request, there will be no services.
