Zachary D. Whitman, 28, of Dallas, Texas passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021.

Born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania on September 24, 1993, he was the loving son of Donald E. and Sherri A. (Lauer) Whitman of Annville. He was a graduate of Annville-Cleona High School in the Class of 2011. Zachary was a member of Quentin United Church of Christ and a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees. He was an avid fan of the Hershey Bears and Washington Capitals ice hockey teams, as well as dirt track racing. Zachary enjoyed reading and taking trips to Gettysburg with his family.

In addition to his parents, he will be missed by his maternal grandmother, Trudy K. Lauer, of Annville, an aunt, Dawn Whitman, of San Antonio, Texas, and an uncle, Jack Lauer, husband of Nicole, of Annville. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Samuel J. Lauer, and paternal grandparents, Donald E. and Ruth M. Whitman.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021, at Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 618 E. Main St. Annville, PA 17003. A public visitation will take place on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
