The Bronx Wanderers, a Las Vegas headliner and fan favorite, return to Mount Gretna for two performances (June 17 and 18) at this year’s Original Mount Gretna Cicada Music Festival.
The Bronx Wanderers – father Vinny Adinolfi, his two sons, and their two friends from high school – kick off Season 27 of the popular central Pennsylvania music festival, and are followed by performances in August by artists from the world of pop, rock ‘n’ roll and soul.
The Bronx Wanderers music has been described as a high-energy “fusion of rock ‘n’ roll with Broadway… backlit against the most outrageous behind-the-scenes stories ever shared.” Their playlist stretches from the early ‘60s to the ‘90s and includes covers of such music legends as Neil Diamond, Frankie Valli, Billy Joel, Dion, Bon Jovi, Queen, Bruno Mars and, of course, Elvis.
The Bronx Wanderers, who are currently headlining at the Westgate Resort and Casino in Las Vegas, have had a performance residency there since 2016 and have been together as a group for more than 18 years. They first appeared at the Mount Gretna Playhouse in 2011, and have been back every year since (except for 2020 when the festival was canceled because of COVID-19).
Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 on day of the show and are available through the Original Cicada Music Festival website.
The Original Mount Gretna Cicada Music Festival is a nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to bringing “outstanding, fun and memorable events for music enthusiasts in central Pennsylvania,” according to its website.
