There’s no better time to gather up your loose change and filled coin jars at home, and visit your nearest Jonestown Bank & Trust Co. branch. JBT has an automatic coin counting machine in every full-service office. You just pour in your coins, and the machine does the rest – adding up the total value so you can convert your saved coins into wallet-friendly dollars.
While the bank collects a small service fee from non-JBT clients for the convenience, the bank donates 100% of this collected fee to designated non-profit organizations in the community. JBT clients may use the service for free, but they have the option to donate funds if desired.
The JBT initiative is called Make Change Count for Your Community, and was started in 2006. Since then, JBT has collected and donated tens of thousands of dollars to local organizations that serve local communities in Lebanon and Lancaster Counties.
It’s a great opportunity to help others while you cash in your loose coins. The extra dollars in your wallet can come in handy for holiday shopping, too. Now through December 31, 2019, your counted-coins visit could benefit these organizations:
- All Lebanon County JBT branches are collecting for Toys for Tots
- JBT in Ephrata is collecting for Ephrata Area Social Services
- JBT in Lititz is collecting for Lititz-Warwick Community Chest
- JBT in Manheim is collecting for Manheim Historical Society
Charitable organizations are selected and announced for each quarter of the year. Local non-profit organizations that wish to be considered as future recipients may contact Jennifer Crain, JBT Marketing Officer, at 717-450-1222.
JBT serves customers in and around Lebanon, Lancaster, and Berks Counties. Founded in 1873, JBT currently has assets of $625 million and 14 banking locations. The bank’s 15th location is planned to open in Robesonia in the spring of 2020. For more information about JBT, please visit www.jbt.bank. Member FDIC.
