Family First Health’s medical office in Lebanon now offers substance use services, including Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). As a Family First Health patient, those receiving MAT will be prescribed either buprenorphine or naltrexone. In addition to the MAT, patients will have access to behavioral health consultant service, both in-house and through community partnerships with mental health providers. Case management and recovery support services are also an integral part of the program. The overall health and wellness of each patient is a priority at Family First Health, and this integrated approach to support patients in recovery has shown to be successful at our other practices.
Members of the community are invited to become patients at Family First Health to benefit from these substance use services. Patients can be referred from community partner agencies or call directly to register as a new patient—no referral is needed. Current FFH patients can ask their provider about these services and learn more about becoming part of the program.
“We are really excited to be able to offer this service to the Lebanon community because it builds on work that is already being done by some of the other Community Based Organizations. We know that this pandemic has had a significant impact on mental health and the use of substances and will continue to do so. We hope that Family First Health can help increase access to the support our patients and the Lebanon community members need,” remarked Anthony Valentin, Family First Health Substance Use Program Manager.
