On Saturday, June 25, Juniper Village at Lebanon hosted a Motorcycle and Classic Car Show. Juniper’s Director of Environmental Services, Steve Heller coordinated the event with support from the Spider Riders Association, the Desert Knights Motorcycle Club of America-Berks County Chapter and the Veterans Riders Association. Most of the cars were from the local group of Lebanon Cruise Nights. Rides for the residents were offered throughout the afternoon.
The people who brought their motorcycles and cars seemed to have as much fun as the residents, and some of them came from as far away as Chester County. One of the cars there that day came from Jay Leno’s private collection! It was a very special day which brought back many fond memories of owning classic cars, and for some, riding motorcycles. Pictured enjoying their afternoon rides are Juniper resident, Arlene Leonard, in Nate Hubler’s Slingshot motorcycle and Juniper resident, Raymond Landis, in Bob Hansell’s classic car.
