Imagine having a local hang-out where your personal mug is waiting for you when you’re in need of a frothy pint? Mount Gretna Craft Brewery recently announced its first annual MGCB Mug Club for local beer drinkers. They’ve teamed up with local potter, Amy Burk, who’s making 20oz custom mugs for the 50 members only club.
Mug Clubbers will enjoy 20 oz craft brews for the price of a pint any day of the week, with additional Mug Club Monday specials, deals on new beer releases, brewery swag, first dibs on beer events and more. The annual membership is $50. Applications are going fast, you can sign-up in-house or online here.
There’s a lot more that’s new after two years of listening and learning from the community. Starting March 1 the brewery will be open seven days a week with 4-6 p.m. happy hour Monday through Friday.
New Hours: Mon-Thurs 4-10p | Fri-Sat 11a-10p | Sun 11a-8p
Three months ago, Chef Tia Harris joined the team and has elevated the beer and food experience with specialty features like her brew master burger, desserts made with beer and her ‘almost famous’ biscuits for Sunday brunch.
“We are excited about many of the new and improved experiences our team is building together. In the past four months we have transitioned to table service, launched a new seasonal menu with fantastic weekly features, introduced several new workshops and launched a mug club to name a few,” says co-founder and brewer, Brad Kleinfelter. “We are currently updating our dining room seating and just put a Beer To Go fridge in front that we’ll be stocking up over the next few weeks. There’s a lot of new to check-out!
The brewery stays focused on its mission to serve as a neighborhood gathering place featuring a variety of events and interests for people to come together. Wednesday nights are all about Craft experiences – featuring new beer releases, weekly beer infusions and events from beer pairing and cocktail making to art workshops. The mid-week is followed by Thursday Trivia and Live Music Fridays with a number of events to check-out. To find more on events visit the brewery on its Facebook page or its website.
