In accordance with the provisions of the Pennsylvania Election Code, notice is hereby given that a Municipal Primary Election will be held in Lebanon County, Pennsylvania, between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 8:00 P.M. on the 18^th day of May, 2021, at the regular places of the voting districts in and for said county.  Nominations are to be made by each major political party for the following public offices:

FOR THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA:

One Judge of the Supreme Court, One Judge of the Superior Court, and Two Judges of the Commonwealth Court

FOR THE COUNTY OF LEBANON:

One District Attorney, One Register of Wills & Clerk of the Orphans Court, and One Sheriff

FOR THE CITY OF LEBANON:

One Mayor (4 year term), Two City Council Members (4 year term), One City Council Member (2 year term) and One Constable (6 year term)(All ward except 7^th)

FOR AREA SCHOOL DISTRICTS:

Four School Directors at Large (4 year term) in each School District, One School Director at Large (2 year term) in Palmyra School District

FOR MAGISTERIAL DISTRICT JUDGES:

One in District 52-2-01 (6 year term), comprised of Lebanon City Wards:  04, 05, 08, 09, 10.

One in District 52-3-04 (6 year term), comprised of the Borough of Cleona and the Townships of Annville, East Hanover, North Annville, South Annville, and Union.   

FOR BOROUGHS:

(Cleona, Cornwall, Jonestown, Mt. Gretna, Myerstown, Palmyra, and Richland)

One Mayor (4 year term) in all Boroughs, Four Council Members (4 year term) in Cornwall, Jonestown, Myerstown, and Palmyra.  Three Council Members (4 year term) in Mt. Gretna, and Richland; Two Council Members (4 year term) in Cleona; Two Council Members (2 year term) in Cleona; One Council Member (2 year term) in Jonestown; One Tax Collector (4 year term) in each Borough; One Constable (6 year term) in all Boroughs.

FOR FIRST CLASS TOWNSHIPS:

(Annville and West Lebanon)

Two Township Commissioners in each First Class Township (4 year term); One Tax Collector (4 year term) in each First Class Township; One Constable (6 year term) in Annville Township.

FOR SECOND CLASS TOWNSHIPS:

(Bethel, East Hanover, Heidelberg, Jackson, Millcreek, North Annville, North Cornwall, North Lebanon, North Londonderry, South Annville, South Lebanon, South Londonderry, Swatara, Union, and West Cornwall)

One Supervisor in each Second Class Township (6 year term); One Auditor (6 year term) in each Second Class Township; One Tax Collector (4 year term) in each Second Class Township; One Constable (6 year term) in each Second Class Township (except North Lebanon).    

ELECTION OFFICERS:

Judge of Elections (4 year term) and Inspector of Elections (4 year term) in each voting district

For further information on state offices contact the Department of State at (717) 787-5280.  For further information on all other offices contact the County Bureau of Elections at (717) 228-4428.  Petitions may not be circulated prior to February 16, 2021 and must be filed no later than March 9, 2021.  Petition packets and instructions are available at the Voter Registration Office, 400 S. 8^th Street, Room 209, Lebanon, PA  17042.  No appointment is needed, however you must wear a mask and only five (5) individuals are permitted in the office at one time.  

The casting of lots for ballot position for all offices not filed with the Department of State will be held on Wednesday, March 17^th at 1:30 P.M. in the office of the Lebanon County Commissioners (Room 207 of the Lebanon Municipal Building).

SPECIAL ELECTON

One State Senate Seat – 48^th District (2 year term).  All registered voters will be able to vote for this office, no matter what political party you are registered.
