As a means to introduce the Working to Empower People for Advancement Center (WEPA), the new non-profit organization will be conducting a virtual information session open to the community. The session is scheduled for Wednesday, May 19, 2021, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Future sessions are being programmed and dates will be announced via www.wepaempowercenter.org.
WEPA Empowerment Center will be established in the city of Lebanon and will work in collaboration with regional community partners and businesses in order to address barriers experienced by families on a daily basis. The forum will introduce the organization, mission & vision; how the organization plans to address obstacles, and ways in which will provide long-term solutions to the community.
“This event offers a wonderful opportunity for people to learn about this new forward-thinking initiative so that they can be empowered to make the necessary changes regarding these important issues that affect the marginalized in our community,” said Founder, President & CEO Rafael Torres.
Registration in advance will be required to participate in the Zoom event. Send your request to attend to wepacenter@gmail.com by Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Space is limited and future sessions will be scheduled.
