Pennsylvania State Police announced DUI charges this weekend against a Jonestown man for a February 8 incident in which the man crashed his vehicle into a local house.

The crash occurred about 10pm on February 8. The 39 year old was driving east on East Market Street in Jonestown Borough when he misjudged a turn onto South Mulberry street. The driver exited the roadway and struck a residence at 26 East Market Street.

According to the release, numerous signs of impairment were observed and the driver was arrested for driving under the influence. The vehicle was towed from the scene by DE Richard and the driver refused EMS transport despite having a suspected minor injury.
