The American Business Women Association recognized the 48th anniversary of its Lebanon Valley Charter Chapter this past week with a celebration at Hebron Fire Hall.

Entertainment at the event was provided by two former Ms. Senior PA Queens, Peggy Keller (2017) and Lynn Montemuro (2018). Montemuro is a dancer and performed a few different styles of dance, including the Charleston, a tap dance, and a ballet.

For her part, Keller sang a few classic hits, including Frank Sinatra’s ‘All of Me’ and ‘Fly Me to the Moon’ as well as Patsy Cline’s ‘Whatever Lola Wants’.

Two ABWA members present at the celebration have been involved with the organization over its entire 48 years in existence, Roysetta Bruner and Lorraine Long (current PR chairman). Two others, JoAnn Rager and Marlene Bowman, were recognized for perfect attendance over their 46 year affiliation with the group. Rager, Bowmn, and Bruner are also past presidents of the organization.

Meetings of ABWA are held on the 4th Wednesday of each month at 6pm at Hebron Fire Hall. Janice Dishong serves as the organization’s current president. Find more information about the organization on its website and Facebook page.
