North Lebanon Township Supervisor Edward Brensinger was recognized earlier this month by the Governor’s Center For Local Government Service and the PA State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS).

Brensinger was awarded the Governor’s Award for Local Government Excellence for his dedication and service to local government at a ceremony in the Governor’s Mansion on April 11 in Harrisburg.

The ceremony was held as a part of “Local Government Week,” an annual week in April designated by the Pennsylvania legislature to honor local officials and to encourage the public to local government functions have an effect on residents and businesses in the community.

During the course of the week the Governor’s Center for Local Government Services holds an award ceremony to hand out the Governor’s Awards for Local Government Excellence, which recognize local officials for the accomplishments and innovative initiatives to improve their communities.
