Every year, as part of United Way of Lebanon County‘s Day of Caring, over a thousand volunteers participate in more than 80 volunteer projects across the county.

For the 23rd Annual Day of Caring, thousands of individuals, families, and organizations will again join together build a better community.

This year’s Day of Caring will take place on Saturday, April 27 and kick off with a breakfast at Lebanon High School, after which volunteers will be sent to their respective project’s locations.

There will be also additional events happening around the county that coincide with Day of Caring.

There will be a Day of Caring Blood Drive at the Lebanon Valley Family YMCA. Appointments to donate are available from 10am to 3pm. There is also a “Give A Pint, Get A Slice” promotion, courtesy of Domino’s Pizza. You can make an appointment here.

A Spring Into Reading Fest will take place at Lebanon Community Library from noon to 2pm. There will be free hands-on activities for children under eight years-old, as well as music, theatrical juggling, and food. The first 300 children in attendance will receive a United Way bag, book, and other educational resources.
