The sounds of some classic Irving Berlin tunes will be ringing out from Gretna Theatre this weekend as Lebanon County’s only professional theatre begins its newest season.
One of America’s oldest summer theatre, Gretna Theatre has produced shows each summer dating back to 1927.
This season’s first show, I Love A Piano, tells the story of a piano through the years; from the days of Tin Pan Alley through modern day as it weaves its way through the lives of several Americans.
The cast consists Andrew Zahn, Mary Martello, Jenny Piersol, and Michael Warrell. Together, the four actors will sing through almost 60 of Irving Berlin’s hit songs.
The production is directed and choreographed by Ellie Mooney, who has served as associate director on all three national tours of I Love A Piano.
Tickets range from $36-39 and can be purchased by calling the Gretna Theatre Box Office at 717-964-3627 or online at GretnatTheatre.org.
