City of Lebanon

A 55 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Criminal Mischief after an incident on 6-11-19 at 1450 hours on the 200 block of Lehman Street. Batista is accused of throwing a rock at a vehicle window damaging the window causing a $328 loss to the victim.

A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 6-19-19 at 2213 hours on the 00 block of S. 2nd Street.

A 31 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 6-19-19 at 1904 hours on the 700 block of Guilford Street.

A 51 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Harassment on 6-20-19 at 1530 hours on the 1000 block of E. Mifflin Street.

Michael Cotton a 38 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Simple Assault (domestic violence related) and Strangulation after an incident on 6-17-19 at 0948 hours on the 00 block of S. 8th Street. Cotton is accused of choking the 40 year old victim to the point she could not breathe. The victim did have bruising on her neck from the assault. Cotton was apprehended and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Jean Alvarado-Rosado a 29 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Receiving Stolen Property and Retail Theft after an incident on 6-13-19 at 1207 hours on the 900 block of Church Street. Alvarado is accused of possessing a stolen bicycle after being stopped for alleged retail theft. Police allege he possessed a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia after being stopped for the retail theft. He was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ Carl Garver. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $15,000 bail.

Luis Porras-Crespo a 57 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, Terroristic Threats, Possessing Instruments of Crime, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Public Drunkenness Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked and Disorderly Conduct after an incident on 6-17-19 at 0212 hours on the 00 block of N. 9th Street. Porras was removed from an establishment at 39 N. 9th Street for being intoxicated. He is alleged to have returned to the establishment and made contact with an employee. The victim stated Porras pointed a handgun at his head and told him youโ€™re going to die. After a brief interaction Porras left the area and was stopped by police a short distance from the area. Police recovered a firearm as described by the victim within Porrasโ€™ vehicle. The BAC results are pending. Porras was transported to LCCB and arraigned before MDJ John Ditzler. He was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

Jonestown

This crash occurred along State Route 72 North 71 feet west of Center Street. Unit 1 was traveling north on State Route 72 and traversed off the roadway, with its passenger side tires striking the mailbox of the property owner. After striking the mailbox at the stated residence, tire marks located on scene indicated that Operator 1 returned Unit 1 to the roadway and fled north on State Route 72. Unit 1 sustained unknown injuries as a result of this crash.

A Lebanon man was cited with disorderly conduct after a creating a disturbance in the area.

North Londonderry

Skye McCottry, 23, of Palmyra, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after the North Londonderry Township Police were called to assist Lebanon County Adult Probation (LCAP). LCAP was at the location to take into custody on a warrant and probation violation. LCAP searched McCottry’s bedroom and located marijuana and a marijuana pipe. Charges were filed with MDJ Garver.

Katelyn Speck, a 20 year old Palmyra woman, was charged with hindering apprehension or prosecution after Lebanon County Adult Probation responded to the above address to take a wanted subject into custody. Speck claimed that the wanted subject was not inside the residence. She was afforded several opportunities to tell Probation Officers if the wanted subject was inside the residence, but failed to do so. Speck was also told that she could be charged with a crime if she knew the wanted subject was inside and she was concealing his whereabouts, but she claimed the person was not inside. The wanted subject was found hiding in the attic.

On June 10, North Londonderry Township Police cited a 41 year old Lebanon woman with three summary citations for retail theft for three separate incidents that occurred between June 10 and June 16. It was reported that during these incidents she failed to scan 32 items valued at $286.82.

North Londonderry Township Police have charged a 17 year old Palmyra male for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was found on June 23 to be in possession of a vape device and THC oil while at Palmyra High School.

South Londonderry

On June 19 at 10:35 am, the South Londonderry Police Department was dispatched to Horseshoe Pike and S Forge Rd for the report of a motor vehicle collision with injuries. Upon arrival, the Police Department investigated a crash involving three vehicles. Two passengers complained of injuries and were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. One vehicle was removed from the scene by tow. A 47 year old Orlando man will be cited for following too closely.

Police were dispatched to the 5000 block of Elizabethtown Road, Lawn, on May 31 at 1:49am for a reported motorcycle accident. It was found that Collman had been traveling south on his motorcycle and struck a deer. Collman was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

On June 17 at 7:26am, South Londonderry Township Police Department received a report of a non-active hit-and-run motor vehicle collision on the 200 block of Stonebrook Dr. The Police Department met with the owner of the damaged vehicle who reported that his parked vehicle was struck some time overnight. The driver of the striking vehicle remains unidentified at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the South Londonderry Township Police Department.

On May 15, South Londonderry Township Police Department received a report of on-going harassment by communication. Dylan Trutt, a 25 year old York Haven man, reported communicated with his ex-girlfriend after being instructed to cease any and all unwanted communication. The Police Department was informed of additional unwanted communication with the victim proceeding the initial report. Harassment charges against Trutt were later filed.

On May 14, the South Londonderry Township Police Department was notified by a 20 year old Annville man that the driver’s side window of his vehicle was damaged while he was visiting friends on the 5000 block of Elizabethtown Road. Case remains on-going. Anyone with information related to this incident is encouraged to contact the Police Department.

On May 13 at 1:53pm, the South Londonderry Township Police Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle collision, involving a roll-over, in the 5300 block of Elizabethtown Road. The driver of the vehicle was identified as a 71 year old Mt. Joy woman. She was later transported from the scene by private vehicle. Lawn and Life Lion EMS, as well as the Lawn and Campbelltown Fire Companies also responded to the scene.

On May 10 at 11:27pm, the South Londonderry Township Police Department was dispatched to the 2900 block of Horseshoe Pike for a report of a motor vehicle collision. No injuries were reported at the scene. Officers from the Police Department arrived and learned that the striking vehicle had fled the scene. The striking vehicle was reported as a dark-in-color sedan or small SUV with driver’s side damage. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the South Londonderry Township Police Department.

On May 26 at 8:08pm, the South Londonderry Township Police Department was dispatched to In the Net (798 Airport Road) for the report of a non-active motor vehicle collision. The Police Department met with the owner of the vehicle, a 25 year old Hummelstown man who reported damage to his vehicle. The striking vehicle remains unidentified. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the South Londonderry Police Department.

On June 2 at 12:04pm, the South Londonderry Township Police Department was notified of an access device fraud complaint. The victim reported that her credit card/bank account information was compromised and that her information was used to make fraudulent purchases in Baltimore, MD. The case remains under investigation.

On May 17 at 3:31pm, this non reportable accident occurred on Horseshoe Pike near the intersection of Schoolhouse Road when vehicles were stopped on the roadway and a Medusa, NY man struck the rear of a Lebanon woman’s vehicle. There were no injuries and both vehicles were driven from the scene.

On May 22, the victim found out that some unknown person(s) used her debit card for $28.00 to make a purchase.

This one vehicle DUI crash occurred on May 12 at approximately 3:30 on South Lingle Avenue. Jason Le Nyhart, a 29 year old Lititz man, was the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle. Nyhart was found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage where his BAC was 0.131% at the time of the accident, where he crossed the roadway and went through a wooden fence and into a ditch.
