Bethel Township

This single-vehicle crash occurred on July 17 at 6:49pm as Unit 1, a 1998 Chevrolet Blazer driven by a 18 year old Myerstown woman, was traveling north on Union Road. Unit 1 was traveling too fast for wet conditions upon the roadway and began to fishtail upon negotiating a left-hand curve. Unit 1 left the North lane of traveling and into the Southbound lane of travel where it continued passing the fog line and struck a raised embankment. Unit 1 then continued scrapping along the embankment when it struck a high graded portion of the embankment. This event caused Unit 1 to go airborne where it overturned slightly and struck a utility pole approximately 10-12 feet with its roof. The pole was cracked and leaning at approximately 15′ and Unit 1 came to final rest at the bae of the Utility pole facing west.

On July 10 at approximately 3:49pm, Troopers from PSP Jonestown were dispatched to investigate the theft of motor vehicle parts from Ron’s Trucing Repair Service in Bethel Township. This theft occurred between July 9 at 6:00pm and July 10 at 12:00pm. If anyone has information pertaining to this case, please contact PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference incident number P2019-923604. Stolen: Trailer refrigeration unit doors, valued at $1,500 and Micro processor unit, valued at $1,200.

City of Lebanon

A 15 year old male from North Lebanon Township has been cited for Harassment and Disorderly Conduct on 6-15-19 at 1648 hours at 8th and Walnut Streets.

A 24 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Dogs Running At Large, Vaccination Required and Dog License Required on 6-20-19 at 1228 hours on the 1000 block of Chestnut Street.

A 41 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 7-24-19 at 1935 hours on the 400 block of Spring Street.

A 59 year old Lebanon man cited for Disorderly Conduct on 7-20-19 at 0001 hours on the 00 block of Tiffany Lane.

Heidelberg Township

On July 18 at 4:54pm on the 200 block of Schaeffer Road, Troopers responded to Keller Bros Ford for the report of a fraudulent check that had been cashed. This investigation is ongoing.

Jackson Township

The 17 year old Myerstown male Defendant, being less than 21 years of age, attempted to purchase liquor or malt or brewed beverage. Details were not specified. The incident is said to have occurred July 12 at 11:39am.

06/27/2019 23:42 (Thursday) COLEBROOK RD – LEBANON. Traffic stop for erratic driving; Elke M Zeller, 50, Lebanon was charged with DUI and traffic offense; Turning Movements and Required Signals.

06/30/2019 14:07 (Sunday) 1800 BLK OF CHESTNUT ST – LEBANON. Two (2) female juveniles (both 14 YOA), Lebanon were cited with criminal mischief and harassment after police responded to a physical altercation.

07/18/2019 10:07 (Thursday) 2100 W CUMBERLAND ST – TACO BELL – LEBANON. Traffic stop for a suspended license; Ahdara Yahsharalaisrael, 23, Cleona was charged with Use/Possess of Drug Paraphernalia and traffic offenses.

07/21/2019 00:10 (Sunday) S 20TH ST AT WALNUT ST- LEBANON. Traffic stop for faulty lights; Yahaira Rivera Valle, 24, Lebanon was charged with DUI, driving without a license, no rear lights, Notice of change of name or address.

07/21/2019 00:27 (Sunday) 1700 BLK QUENTIN RD – LEBANON. Police responded to a man walking in the middle of the road; a 31 year old, Lebanon man was charged with Marijuana; small amount personal use and Public Drunkenness.

North Londonderry Township

A23 year old Annville man was traveling north on Old Forge Road. The man reported to police that he was distracted by his GPS and that he failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway. His vehicle struck a utility pole and a building. No injuries were reported. He was to be cited with careless driving.

On July 25 at 8:08am, the North Londonderry Township Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on the 100 block of Kettering Drive in Palmyra. The accident occurred when a 70 year old Palmyra woman was turning around in a driveway and mistakenly pressed the gas pedal and not the brake pedal. Her vehicle struck the garage door and then another vehicle that was parked in the garage. She was transported to the Hershey Medical Center with minor injuries. Both vehicles were removed from the garage without incident.

Swatara Township

This one-vehicle crash occurred after a 18 year old Jonestown man failed to negotiate a left-hand curve while traveling Eastbound on Grebel Road. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 due to driving too fast for the wet conditions upon the roadway. Unit 1 left its lane of travel and continued on to the opposing lane of travel where it continued forward striking an embankment, a wired fence, and its wood posts, and then rolled over an unknown amount of times coming to final rest on its roof, facing north. The driver was charged for driving vehicle at safe speed.

In the commission of this crime on July 25 at 1:30pm on the 1900 block of Grace Ave in Swatara Township, a 72 year old Swatara Township man damaged the victim’s mailbox. He was charged with criminal mischief.
