A 20 year old man incurred a non-fatal gunshot wound following an incident Saturday night in Lebanon.

According to Lebanon City Police, officers responded to the 700 block of Arnold Street at approximately 8:42pm after an officer heard gunshots in the area. At the location officers discovered the 20 year old Lebanon man suffering from a single gunshot wound to the upper body.

According to the release, investigators learned that a verbal argument turned physical, and that two persons discharged handguns. The release states that police have already identified a number of people involved in the altercation and recovered one handgun.

The man suffering the non-life threatening gunshot wound is suspected to have been an active participant in the altercation.
