North Cornwall Township

Sunday, 08-04-2019 16:18 A North Cornwall Township woman was charged with Retail Theft and Use/Possession of drug Paraphernalia. Keener took perfume valued at $166.00 from Kohl’s, 1261 Quentin Road, failing to pay for the perfume.

Thursday, 08-08-2019 10:47 A 26 year old Lebanon oman was cited for Harassment  after she shoved the victim, ripped his shirt, knocked his hat and glasses off his head and kicked the storm door pane out.

East Hanover Township

This incident occurred on August 7 at 3:08pm as State Police responded to the 00 block of Coon Creek Road after receiving the report of a physical altercation between a husband and wife. Investigation revealed the arrestee, a 52 year old Palmyra man, became physical following a domestic dispute. Charges were filed accordingly.

Jackson Township

In the commission of this crime on August 7 at 12:02pm, the Accused, Jordan Weidman, a 26 year old Fredericksburg man, fled in his motor vehicle from a traffic stop initiated in the area of W. Lincoln Ave. at W. Washington Ave. The Accused continued to flee on N. Ramona Rd. and then back on to W. Lincoln Ave. towards Lebanon. The Accused lost control of his vehicle in the area of Halfway Dr. The Accused placed his vehicle in reverse and struck the front of the pursuing patrol vehicle as he continued to attempt to flee. The Accused exited his vehicle and fled on foot through the Brightbill bus company parking lot. The pursuing Trooper utilized his Taser on the Accused two times with negative effect. Sight of the Accused was lost as he ran in to the wood line. It was also discovered that the Accused had two juveniles (6 YOA and 16 YOA) in his vehicle as he had fled. Multiple officers from Lebanon and Berks County responded to assist with setting up a perimeter. A PSP helicopter and a Berks Sheriff’s Department tracking dog also arrived on scene to assist. The Accused was subsequently located and taken in to custody without incident. The Accused was transported to PSP Jonestown where the charges of Aggravated Assault on LEO, Endangering the Welfare of Children, Reckless Endangerment, Fleeing and Eluding, Resisting Arrest, Simple Assault, Harassment, and numerous traffic violations were completed on the Accused. The Accused was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking where he was arraigned on $50,000 monetary bail.

Union Township

This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2000 Dodge Grand Caravan, was traveling west on SR 443. Operator 1, a 17 year old Hegins male, was unable to safely slow the vehicle in the travel lanes for possible deer in the roadway and decided to turn to the right to avoid them. As Unit 1 left the roadway, Operator 1 was unable to slow down striking a Met Ed Utility Pole on the north side of the road. Operator 1 reported no injuries and was wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact. Assisted on scene by Met-Ed, Northern Lebanon Fire Company, Fort Indiantown Gap Fire Department, and fire police.
