Charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia have been filed against a 21 year old Cornwall Township man after being found slummed over the steering wheel of his vehicle at 3rd Ave. and E. Guilford Street on 6-15-19 at 0703 hours. Police allege he had THC in his blood sample retrieved on 6-15-19.
A 38 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 8-22-19 at 0516 hours on the 100 block of N. 7th Street.
A 23 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Harassment after an incident on 8-12-19 at 2100 hours on the 00 block of Canal Street.
Charges of Simple Assault (domestic violence related), Strangulation and Unlawful Restraint have been filed against Raul Gonzalez a 32 year old Lebanon resident after an incident on 8-21-19 at 1618 hours on the 400 block of N. 10th Street. Gonzalez is accused of pushing the 39 year old victim to the floor, holding her down against her will and choking her to the point she could not breathe. His alleged actions caused injury to the victim requiring medical treatment. Gonzalez was not immediately apprehended. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
A charge of Theft of Leased Property has been filed against a 43 year old Lebanon man after failing to comply with the agreement on 7-17-19. The total loss to the merchant at 851 Cumberland Street is $1637.56.

A 33 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia on 8-22-19 at 0740 hours on the 900 block of Scull Street.
Jackson Township
On August 21 at 2:22pm, this two vehicle crash occurred on King St at its intersection with S. Ramona Road as unit 1, a 2004 Honda Accord driven by a 16 year old Myerstown man, was traveling south on South Ramon Road, approaching its intersection with King Street. Unit 2, a 2006 Mack Truck driven by a 53 year old Annville man, was traveling east on King Street, approaching the same intersection. Unit 1 failed to stop at the stop sign that stops southbound traffic on South Ramona Road from crossing over King Street. The driver side front portion of unit 1 struck the driver side rear portion of unit 2. Unit 1 sustained damages while unit 2 was able to driven from the scene. No injuries reported from the scene.
This single vehicle crash occurred on August 22 at 6:37pm as unit 1, a 2019 Freightliner driven by a 29 year old San Gabriel, CA man, was traveling in the left lane of Interstate 81 southbound near mile marker 84.9. Unit 1 changed lanes from the left lane to the right lane, when unit 1 continued through the right lane and drove off the roadway.. Once off of the roadway, unit 1 struck an embankment causing severe damage to unit 1 and its semi-trailer that it was hauling. The one passenger of unit 1 was injured and transported to an area hospital for treatment. Motter’s Towing assisted on scene.
North Cornwall Township
Wednesday – 08-22-2019 18:00 – A 29 year old Lebanon man was traveling out of the Lebanon Plaza. (Intersection of Quentin Road and York Street) The man was attempting to turn left to travel north on Quentin Road and turned in front of a 36 year old Myerstown woman. The woman was traveling west into the Lebanon Plaza. Both vehicles drivable, no injuries were reported.
Union Township
On August 21 at 6:07pm on I-78, a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown found the vehicle operator, a 22 year old Wormleysburg man, to be in possession of marijuana and THC oil.
