City of Lebanon
A 27 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud radio) on 1-15-20 at 1310 hours on the 900 block of Guilford Street.
A 20 year old Lebanon woman has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on 1-15-20 at 1655 hours on the 800 block of Scull Street.
Charges have been filed and a warrant issued for the arrest of Lori Boyer a 64 year old with no permanent address after an incident on 1-13-20 at 1759 hours on the 300 block of N. 10th Street. The charges are Accident Involving Damage to Attended Vehicle, Limitations on Backing, Operation Following Suspension of Registration, Registration and Certificate of Title Required and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked. Boyer is accused of backing into an occupied vehicle then leaving the scene of the accident after being confronted by the driver of the vehicle she struck. No one was injured during this accident.
Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Careless Driving have been filed against Michelle Lantz a 27 year old Lebanon resident after a minor traffic accident on 12-23-19 at 0830 hours at Locust and 3rd Streets. No one was injured during this accident. Police allege her BAC was .300% at the time of the accident.
A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Victor Rodriguez-Martinez a 32 year old Lebanon resident after an incident on 1-15-20 at 2350 hours on the 200 block of N. 8th Street. Rodriguez is accused of punching the 33 year old victim several times and threatening to harm her with a knife. He fled prior to police arrival and has not been apprehended. Charges of Simple Assault (domestic violence related), Terroristic Threats and Possessing Instruments of Crime have been filed.
Bethel Township
This incident occurred Dec. 12 at 9:40 p.m. as the accused, Jamie Kerns, a 31-year-old Fredericksburg man, and the victim, a 46-year-old Palmyra man, were involved in a verbal argument inside a business on E. Main St. As the accused was leaving the business he pushed over the victim’s 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle, causing damage to the motorcycle. The accused was charged for Criminal Mischief at District Justice Wolfe’s office.
East Hanover Township
On Jan. 12 at 8:11 a.m., a 42-year-old Grantville woman was found laying on the roadway of Jonestown Road, Bethel Township. The arrestee was found in a state of semi-consciousness due to intoxication. Arrestee was cited for public drunkenness.
On Dec. 31 at 7:31 p.m., at Jonestown Road and Racehorse Drive, a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident have been filed against Jorge Santiago Cataquet, a 34-year-old Lebanon man, in Magisterial District Court 52-3-04.
Jackson Township
On Dec. 15 at 6:54 a.m., troopers were dispatched to the 800 block of E Lincoln Ave for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival on scene Troopers located the suspect sleeping inside his vehicle with the car still in the drive position. Through further investigation drug paraphernalia was located on the suspect’s person.
Jonestown Borough
On Jan. 11 at 11:20 p.m., members of PSP Jonestown responded to S Mill St and Arrow Ct for a report of a domestic assault. Upon arrival on scene the victim, a 47-year-old Jonestown woman, was observed to have fresh injuries and explained her husband assaulted her before fleeing the residence prior to PSP arrival. Approximately ninety minutes later while canvassing the area, the actor, Daniel Velez, a 52-year-old Jonestown man, was located and taken into custody. Charges were prepared.
Myerstown Borough
On Dec. 28 at 9:36 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to the 100 block of S. Cherry St for a report of an unresponsive 24-year-old male. Upon arrival, the male was given medical attention for an overdose and transported to Good Samaritan Hospital. PSP Jonestown continues to investigate.
On Jan. 14 at approximately 6:03 p.m., State Police responded to the 200 block of West Maple Avenue, Myerstown Borough, Lebanon County, for the report of an unidentified male entering parked vehicles. Investigation revealed Victim #1 and Victim #2 had parked their vehicles in their driveways while unlocked. At approximately 5:00 p.m., a white male (unknown age) wearing dark clothing and a red hat opened the passenger side doors on both of the above vehicles. The suspect did not take any items from the vehicles and was spotted by a neighbor before fleeing west on West Maple Avenue. The involved vehicles were not damaged. No further investigative leads were discovered and no other neighbors in the area witnessed this incident. On Jan. 11 at 1:31 a.m., James Irwin, a 41-year-old Lebanon man, was stopped at N Locust St and W Washington Ave. During the stop it was determined that the operator was DUI. The operator was arrested for DUI and was transported for a blood test. Charges were filed at District Justice Verna’s office for DUI and various traffic violations.
North Lebanon Township
Theft & Criminal Conspiracy – The following were charged with incidents that occurred at Sunny Lane Foods, 2750 Hanford Drive, Lebanon, PA the incidents occurred in November and December 2019. Cases of cheese valued at $1,866 were taken:
- Alfredo Rivera- Lugo – age 29 – Lebanon, PA
- Angel McFaline – age 46 – Lebanon, PA
- Enrique Guadalupe-Calderon – age 52 – Lebanon, PA
- Wilfredo Lopez – age 20 – Lebanon, PA
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Isaac Pyles – age 19 – a Lebanon, PA man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on January 3, on N. 25th Street.
On Jan. 14 at 3:23 p.m. at E. Cumberland and Mishler Streets, State Police stopped a vehicle driven by Alexander Vasquez Soriano, a 24-year-old Lebanon man, after observing numerous traffic violations at the above location. Further investigation revealed the driver was wanted on an outstanding NCIC warrant related to DUI. The passenger was found to be in possession of THC oil. Charges pending.
Richland Borough
On Jan. 12, members of PSP Jonestown responded to N Race St for a report of theft in which a George Foreman Grill was remove from the back porch of the victim. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact PSP Jonestown.
On Jan. 11 at 11:13 a complaint for fraud/forgery was reported on the 800 block of East Linden Street, Richland Borough, Lebanon County. The complainant, a 71-year-old Richland woman, stated that an unknown actor cashed checks that belonged to her. She also suspects that other personal item are missing from her residence. The investigation is ongoing.
Swatara Township
On Jan. 16 at 8:49 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2004 Honda Civic driven by a 62-year-old Mechanicsburg man, was traveling west on I-78 west near MM 3.1 in Swatara Township, Lebanon County. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and swerved off of the roadway and struck the metal cable guide rail median off the south shoulder. Unit 1 then traveled back onto the travel lanes and came to a final rest on the north shoulder off the roadway. Unit 1 sustained disabling damage to the front from striking the metal cable guide rail. Operator 1 reported no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Joe May’s Towing.
On Dec. 19 at 10:00 a.m., members of PSP Jonestown responded to Pine Meadow Road for a report of burglary. This investigation remains open. Hand tools, diamond earrings and a wedding ring, and a padlock were stolen (total value ~$915).
On Jan. 14 at 1:45 a.m., Troopers of PSP Jonestown were dispatched to the AmVets Post 293 for a report of a burglary alarm. Upon arrival on scene fresh damage was observed to the rear window. An unknown actor(s) pried security bars off the window and gained entry to the structure. Prior to leaving the actor(s) went through the office and took an unknown amount of cash from the office. PSP Jonestown is investigating. Anyone with information as to the identity of the actor(s) is encouraged to call PSP Jonestown at 717-865-2194 and reference the incident number PA 2020-63604.
Union Township
This crash occurred Jan. 15 at 10:10 p.m. on I-81 near MM 87.4, Union Township, Lebanon County. I-81, in the area of this crash, is a four-lane divided concrete highway with two northbound travel lanes and two southbound travel lanes. Unit 1, a 2007 Toyota Tundra driven by a 19-year-old Unadilla, NY man, was traveling northbound in the right lane. Unit 2, a 2019 Peterbilt tractor driven by a 58-year-old Fredericksburg, PA woman, was traveling northbound in the left lane. Unit 1 experienced a mechanical failure (broken left front tire rod) which caused Unit 1 to suddenly veer to the left. Unit 1’s left front corner struck the right side of Unit 2’s trailer. After initial impact, Unit 1 bounced off of Unit 2’s trailer and veered back to the right and struck Unit 2’s trailer a second time. Unit 1 then came to final rest along the right northbound shoulder. Unit 2 came to a controlled rest along the left northbound shoulder. No reported injuries. Unit 1 required towing.
On Dec. 24 at 10:23 a.m. at SR72 and I-78 E, PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop. The operator of the vehicle. Jonathan Tehal, was taken into custody for a warrant. A passenger, Shane Reichard, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A third passenger, Amanda Pruitt, was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and related drug paraphernalia. Tehal and Reichard were transported to Lebanon County Central Booking. Charges will be filed on Pruitt.
On Jan. 9 at 8:18 p.m., at SR-72 and Pine Tree Road, a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown yielded the seizure of marijuana and additional drug paraphernalia. Charges for this incident to be filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-04 against Justo Figueroa Carrion, a 37-year-old Lebanon man.
This crash occurred on Jan. 11 at 5:38 a.m. as Unit 1 was beginning to merge onto I-81 from I-78 in the left lane when it lost control. Operator 1 explained he hit a bump or unknown debris which caused his arm to jerk. Unit 1 then began to slide and Operator 1 was unable to regain control of the vehicle. Unit 1 then traveled across all travel lanes striking the guiderail to the north side of the roadway while continuing to rotate. Unit 1 came to final rest in the middle lane facing north east blocking the middle and right lanes of travel. Operator 1 reported minor injuries and was transported by Life Lion EMS to Hershey medical center for evaluation. Operator 1 was wearing his seatbelt at the time of impact and the driver side airbag was deployed. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Joe Mays towing.
West Lebanon Township
Retail Theft – Aislyn Evans – age 18 – Pequea, PA was charged with retail theft after incident at Boscov’s, Lebanon Valley Mall on January 10, 2020, after failing to pay for $939 worth of merchandise. Also charged, Aisa Pizarro-Rosello – age 21 – Lancaster, PA. She was apprehended after failing to pay for $1,004 worth of merchandise.
