City of Lebanon

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana and Driving Vehicle at Safe Speed have been filed against Julian Jordan a 23 year old Lebanon resident after he was involved in a traffic stop on 11-27-19 at 0036 hours on the 500 block of N. 7th Street. Jordan refused to submit to a blood test.

Charges of Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Driving on Right Side of Roadway have been filed against Charles Mertz a 23 year old Cornwall resident after a traffic stop on 1-04-20 at 0034 hours on the 100 block of S. 7th Street.

Charges of Theft and Receiving Stolen Property have been filed against Joanne Passerini a 34 year old with no permanent address after investigation into a theft that occurred on 1-16-20 at 1845 hours on the 500 block of Cumberland Street. Passerini is accused of taking a cell phone that did not belong to her. Total loss to the victim is $400.00.

Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Careless Driving and One-Way Roadways have been filed against Jevon Fillette a 24 year old Churchville, PA resident after a minor traffic accident on 12-28-19 at 2359 hours at Cumberland and 10th Streets.

A 27 year old woman and a 30 year old man both of Lebanon, have been cited for Disorderly Conduct after an incident on 12-21-19 at 0255 hours on the 1100 block of Willow Street.

A 28 year old man and a 24 year old man both of Lebanon, have been cited for Disorderly Conduct after a fight on 1-22-20 at 1125 hours at 8th and Cumberland Streets.

A charge of False Reports has been filed against Nicole Warren a 44 year old Jonestown resident after she reported her vehicle stolen on 1-16-20 at 1648 hours. Police investigated the report and learned she reported the vehicle stolen knowing it had not been stolen.

Cornwall Borough

On Wednesday, Jan. 22, a resident in Spring Hill Acres, around the Ash Ln area observed a black male subject walking through their backyard, very close to their residence taking pictures of their property. The male was driving a silver Ford sedan and left in an unknown direction. Anyone with any information please contact the Police Department at 717-274-2071 or County Dispatch at 717-272-2054 to speak to an Officer. Residents are reminded to call the police ANYTIME they see something that is suspicious or “out of the ordinary”. There are officers on duty 24 hours a day and one will always respond to your call. To report any suspicious activity, the fastest way to contact the police is to dial 911.

Criminal Mischief: On December 12, 2019 at approximately 9:45 p.m. the Cornwall Borough Police Department responded to a disturbance at a home on the 300 block of Rexmont Road. As a result of the investigation a 21 year old man was charged with Criminal Mischief for damaging a rearview mirror of a vehicle that was parked nearby.

Disorderly Conduct: On 01/22/2020 at approximately 9:30 a.m. hours Cornwall Borough Police responded to a suspicious person in the area of the 100 block of Furnace Street. Cornwall Borough Police charged a 42 year old man with Disorderly Conduct after he was observed by citizens urinating outside in a nearby yard.

Jackson Township

This crash occurred on Jan. 23 at 11:35 a.m. on East Lincoln Avenue just west of North Locust Street, Jackson Township, Lebanon County. This crash occurred as Operator 1, not identified, was traveling west on East Lincoln Avenue in Unit 1, a 2004 Chevrolet Suburban, directly behind Unit 2, a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. Operator 1 failed to observe Unit 2 slow for traffic ahead of Unit 2 and Unit 1 subsequently struck the rear end of Unit 2. Unit 1 sustained mild damage to its front passenger side bumper at the 1 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 2 sustained mild damage to its rear bumper at the 6 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 2 and Passenger 1 of Unit 2 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3310 (Following Too Closely).

This crash occurred on Jan. 23 at 10:50 a.m. on State Route 501 just north of Elco Drive, Jackson Township, Lebanon County. This crash occurred as Operator 1, not identified, was traveling south on State Route 501 and fell asleep. Unit 1, a 2010 Honda Odyssey, subsequently traversed off the right shoulder of State Route 501, striking a Verizon Utility Pole. Unit 1 sustained moderate damage to its front hood, bumper, and fender at the 1 o’clock position and was able to be driven from the scene in its normal customary manner. Operator 1 sustained no injuries as a result of this crash. Unit 1 was towed from the scene by Zimmermans Farm Service at the request of Operator 1. Operator 1 was cited with PA VC 3309 (Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic).

On Jan. 13 at 9:12 a.m. on the 400 block of E. Lincoln Ave, a traffic stop found the arrestee, Ismael Marrero Febres, a 61-year-old Lebanon man, to be operating a motor vehicle with a DUI suspended license. Charges for this incident have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-01.

North Cornwall Township

An accident on 01-22-2020 at 0806 – A 72-year-old Mechanicsburg man was traveling south on South 16th Street through the intersection when a 36-year-old Lebanon woman pulled out from Walnut Street and struck him.ย Both vehicles were drivable and no injuries were reported.

A traffic stop for heavily tinted windows on 01-21-2020 at 2348ย in the 1900 block of Walnut Street.ย William Scaturro, 21, Lebanon was charged with Manufacture, Delivery or Possession with Intent to Manufacture or Deliver a Controlled Substance (Marijuana).

12-04-2019 โ€“ 3:45 p.m.ย A 50-yar-old Pottstown woman was charged with Bad Checks for writing a check to Musserโ€™s Market, Quentin Road, Lebanon which was returned by the bank and she failed to make good on the check.

A traffic stop for heavily tinted windows on Saturday, 01-25-2020 at 1:01 a.m., 1600 block of Cumberland Street.ย A 36-year-old Reading man was charged with Small Amount of Marijuana for Personal Use.

A traffic stop for a stop sign violation on 01-26-2020 at 12:08 a.m., 1400 block of Walnut Street.ย A 19-year-old Lebanon man was cited for disorderly conduct and a 17 years of age, male juvenile, Cleona was cited for disorderly conduct and curfew violation after an incident involving marijuana.

North Lebanon Township

Fleeing or Attempting to Elude โ€“ Alexander Heagy-Estevez โ€“ age 19 โ€“ 2013 Carlton Drive, Lebanon was charged with the Fleeing or attempting to elude, recklessly endangering and numerous traffic violations after failing to stop for a traffic violation in the 1500 block of E. Cumberland Street on January 17, 2020.

Possession of a Controlled Substance โ€“ Amber Funk โ€“ Age 36 โ€“ 18 S. Wilson Street, Cleona was charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. William Large โ€“ Age 31 โ€“ same address โ€“ was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges were as a result of an incident that occurred on January 22, 2019, in the 1500 block of E. Cumberland Street.

West Cornwall Township

Snow Ordnance Violations: On Jan 10th 2020 the Cornwall Borough Police Department responded to complaints of sidewalks not being cleared of ice and snow 24 hours after the snow fall as per West Cornwall Township Ordinance labeled Responsibility for Removing Snow, Ice, and Slush from Sidewalks, or Placing Abrasive Material on the Same. As a result of the ordinance investigation, eight home owners/ residents received ordinance citations along Riders way and Main Street in West Cornwall Twp for the violation. As a reminder all sidewalks must be cleared of ice/ snow/slush within 24 hours after the weather event.

Deer Struck: A 29-year-old Middletown woman struck a deer Thursday, January 23, 2020, 6:27 PM, on SR 72 Split (Northbound Lane). No injuries.ย Vehicle sustained minor damage but was drivable. The deer fled.

On Dec. 29 at 2:09 a.m. at Ebenezer Road and Jay Street, a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP-Jonestown found the operator, Cody Zane Heist, a 24-year-old Lebanon man, to be under the influence of marijuana and cocaine. Additional drug items were seized from the vehicle of Heist. Charges for this incident have been filed in Magisterial District Court 52-3-03.

On Jan. 22 at 9:36 a.m., State Police stopped a 2003 Dodge RAM driven by a 36-year-old Lebanon man at N 7th ST and Kathy Dr after observing traffic violations. Further investigation revealed the passenger was in possession of marijuana. Charges are pending.
