City of Lebanon

A 28 year old North Lebanon Township man has been cited for Public Drunkenness on 3-05-20 at 1124 hours on the 700 block of East Cumberland Street.

A 30 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Retail Theft after investigation into the theft that occurred on 1-27-20 at 1242 hours on the 400 block of S. 9th Street. He is accused of taking merchandise totaling $41.98.

An 11 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Disorderly Conduct and Littering on 3-08-20 at 1911 hours on the 00 block of N. 5th Street. The juvenile is accused of throwing a slushy drink cup at the victim’s window of his residence leaving the cup lying on the sidewalk.

A 46 year old Lebanon man has been cited for Dogs Running At Large, Vaccination Required and Dog License Required after an incident on 2-24-20 at 1605 hours on the 1100 block of Mifflin Street.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Javier Matos a 38 year old Lebanon resident after being charged with Escape and Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked on 3-03-20 at 1016 hours on the 500 block of N. 11th Street. Matos is accused of fleeing from a PA State Constable after being told he had a warrant for his arrest. Matos is accused of fleeing to a parked vehicle then driving from the scene in the vehicle.

Charges of Simple Assault, Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possessing Instruments of Crime, Tamper with or Fabricate Physical Evidence and Disorderly Conduct have been filed against Russell Nash a 29 year old Lebanon resident after an incident on 2-03-20 at 1837 hours. Nash is alleged to have pointed a handgun at the victim while both Nash and the victim were operating vehicles on 300 block of Cumberland Street. Police investigated the incident and made contact with Nash who had fled from the scene. The handgun was confirmed to be a BB gun. He is accused of possessing marijuana during contact with police.

Tabitha Cooke a 35 year old Lebanon resident has been charged with Obstructing Administration of Law or Other Governmental Functions, Escape, Resisting Arrest, Refuse to Surrender Registration Plates and Disorderly Conduct after a traffic stop on 3-06-20 at 0719 hours on the 900 block of Cumberland Street. Cooke is accused of preventing the officer from removing the registration plate from the vehicle, the plate had been suspended due to an insurance cancellation. Cooke is alleged to have stood in front of the plate to prevent officers from removing the plate then returned to the driver’s seat and attempted to flee from the scene. She was removed from the vehicle and resisted officer’s attempts to take her into custody. She was handcuffed and transported to LCCB where she was arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe. She was incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $2,500 bail.

Tony Ressler a 29 year old South Lebanon Township resident has been charged with Simple Assault 2 counts (domestic violence related), Terroristic Threats and Resisting Arrest after an incident on 3-09-20 at 0207 hours on the 700 block of Federal Street. Ressler is accused of pulling the 29 year old victim from her bed, striking her on various parts of her body, choking her and telling her he would kill her. The victim was injured during this incident. Police attempted to take him into custody at which time he resisted efforts. He was handcuffed and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Anthony Verna and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $25,000 bail.

East Hanover Township

This crash occurred on March 5 at 3:14 p.m. as Unit 1, a 2016 Honda CRV driven by a 30-year-old Grantville man, was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road in East Hanover Township. Operator #1 stopped his vehicle at the posted stop sign on Gravel Hill Road at its intersection with Allentown Boulevard/SR22. Unit 2, a 2005 Chrysler Sebring driven by a 24-year-old Grantville woman, was traveling eastbound in the right lane of Allentown Boulevard (which runs in a Northeast direction at this location) approaching its intersection with Gravel Hill Road. The Witness #1 wished to turn south on Gravel Hill Road and slowed her vehicle prior to turning. Operator 2 moved her vehicle from behind Witness 1 by changing lanes from right to left lane, still traveling east. Operator 1, who wished to cross the eastbound traffic of Allentown Boulevard and turn left onto Allentown Boulevard westbound failed to see Unit 2 behind Witness 1’s vehicle and proceeded to cross Allentown Boulevard’s eastbound travel lanes. Unit 1’s frontend struck Unit 2’s right front end/right front tire in the eastbound left lane of Allentown Boulevard, where it intersects with Gravel Hill Road. Unit 1 traveled several feet into the middle turning lanes of Allentown Boulevard, coming to final rest in the middle of the intersection, facing Northeast. Unit 2 traveled through the middle of the intersection and crossed both westbound travel lanes of Allentown Boulevard, coming to final rest on the shoulder/property of the Northeast corner of this intersection facing Northeast. All three occupants from both vehicles involved in this crash were transported to Hershey Medical Center via EMS for medical evaluation.

North Londonderry Township

A 45-year-old Palmyra man was charged with Public Drunkenness after he was observed on March 9 at 8:08 p.m. walking along the side of the 400 block of Campbelltown Road and was extremely intoxicated. He was taken to central booking for a probation violation.

South Lebanon Township

Harassment – A 56-year-old Lebanon woman was cited for Harassment after police were summoned to a domestic disturbance on the 1000 block of Fonderwhite Road on March 2 at 1:08 p.m.

Swatara Township

This crash occurred on March 9 at 4:35 a.m. as Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2, a 2000 Peterbilt 379, while traveling west on I-78. After initial impact Unit 1 fled the scene heading west on I-78 before entering onto I-81 south and fleeing the area. Operator 2 attempted to catch up and follow Unit 1 but was unsuccessful and unable to identify Unit 1. Unit 2 sustained minor damage to its 6 o’clock position to the extent the fender was broken and the rear lights were damaged.

On March 3 at approximately 12:45 a.m., State Police conducted a traffic stop on a 2003 Volkswagen GTI on the 1900 block of SR 72 North after observing numerous traffic violations. During the traffic stop, indicators of criminal activity were observed, and right front seat passenger Julio Pagan provided a fake name when asked to identify himself. A loaded firearm was observed on the floorboard in close proximity to Pagan. Pagan was removed from the vehicle and found to have numerous outstanding warrants from Pennsylvania and New Jersey, including on related to Escape from a placement facility (stemming from a previous criminal conviction). Suspected cocaine and other illegal drug paraphernalia was also seized from Pagan. Pagan was found to be a felon not to possess a firearm (due to numerous prior felony convictions) and was charged with numerous felony firearm offenses as a result of possessing a loaded firearm. He was also charged with flight to avoid apprehension and drug charges. He was transported to Lebanon County Central Booking, where he was lodged. Bail was set at $100,000 straight.
