Cleona Borough

DUI – On June 15, 2020 at 1:43 a.m., at West Penn Ave. and South Wilson St., a traffic stop conducted by members of PSP Jonestown found the Operator of the vehicle to be under the influence of alcohol. Charges for this incident are pending forensic blood analysis results.

Cold Spring Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 16, 2020 at 10:50 p.m., this single vehicle crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2016 Subaru XV Crosstrek, driven by Operator 1, a 30 year old Williamstown man, was traveling south on Goldmine Rd., just south of the Lebanon County line. Operator 1 lost control of Unit 1 and failed to negotiate a left hand curve, subsequently striking a tree off the right shoulder. Unit 1 was towed away from the scene by Joe May’s Towing Company. Operator 1 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Cornwall Borough

Trespassing – An 18 year old Lebanon man, an 18 year old Lebanon woman, and another 18 year old Lebanon man have been charged with Criminal Trespass for an incident that occurred on June 7, 2020 at 7:06 a.m., at the Carriage House on the Freeman Estate property, north of SR 419.

Vehicle Accident – On June 7, 2020 at 10:41 a.m., this crash occurred on SR 419 at the Lebanon Valley rail trail crossing. A 49 year old Lebanon woman was riding a bicycle westbound on the rail trail when she entered the SR 419 intersection and collided with Unit 1, driven by Operator 1, an 89 year old Cornwall man. The woman was transported to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment and was released. Operator 1 was not injured.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 9, 2020 at 2:29 p.m., this crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2017 Toyota Camry, driven by Operator 1, a 28 year old Harrisburg woman, was traveling in the left lane on I 81 North near mile marker 85.4. Unit 1 was following a pickup truck, also in the left lane, and there was a vehicle to the immediate right side of Unit 1. The pickup truck struck a tire in the left lane, kicking the tire up into the air, with the pickup truck continuing north on I 81. Operator 1 saw the struck tire and observed it coming towards her. As a result of heavy traffic in this area, Operator 1 was unable to avoid the tire debris and struck it with Unit 1’s left front end. Operator 1 was able to maintain control of Unit 1 and drove Unit 1 another 1/10 of a mile on I 81 North, bringing Unit 1 to final rest on the left shoulder, facing east. The struck tire was observed on the left shoulder on the I 81 North overpass at mile marker 85.4 and SR 934. This was the scene upon trooper’s arrival.

Suicide Attempt – On June 14, 2020 at 10:16 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to I 81 South in the area of the Bullfrog Rd. overpass for the report of a female near the interstate threatening suicide. The female was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital for voluntary commitment.

Drug Possession – On June 1, 2020 at 11:52 a.m., PSP Jonestown conducted a traffic stop on SR 22, west of Lincoln School Rd. During the traffic stop, troopers located suspected crack cocaine and related paraphernalia. Troopers are still investigating.

Drug Manufacture – On June 14, 2020 at 8:43 p.m., PSP Jonestown stopped a 1995 Saturn on Jonestown Rd. and Main St. for an equipment violation. Investigation revealed the Operator, Dustin Sidler, a 34 year old Lebanon man, to be in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana. The Operator also possessed a large amount of United States Currency (cash). The Operator was taken into custody and charged with felony drug offenses.

Heidelberg Township

Theft – On June 16, 2020 at 10:07 a.m., PSP Jonestown received a report of a theft. Upon investigation, it was determined fraudulent purchases were made using the Victim’s bank account. The Victim was a 32 year old Newmanstown woman. Investigation is ongoing.

Jackson Township

Sexual Assault – A father of a juvenile, a 12 year old Lebanon female, arrived at PSP Jonestown to report the juvenile had been engaging in sexual intercourse with a 19 year old man. This incident had occurred between Feb. 1, 2020 to May 31, 2020. The investigation is ongoing.

Theft – On June 17, 2020 at 11:56 a.m., troopers were dispatched to Hergelrode Dr. for a report of a theft/fraud. It was determined the Victim had sent money and Nike gift cards to an unknown person. The Victim was a 72 year old Myerstown woman. This investigation is ongoing.

Missing Person – On June 13, 2020 at 10:11 a.m., PSP Jonestown responded to Firefly Dr. to look for a 16 year old female that walked away from home. An area canvass was unsuccessful in finding the female and she was entered into NCIC as missing. The subject was later located unharmed on the same date.

Theft – On June 10, 2020 at 8:07 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Oaken Way for the report of receiving fraudulent unemployment benefits, through the United States Postal Service. The Victim was a 42 year old Myerstown woman.

Jonestown Borough

Drowning – On June 12, 2020 at 7:20 p.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Swatara Creek Trail Access of West Market St. for the report of a drowning victim. The investigation revealed that the Victim, Peter Walker-Crespo, a 31 year old Lebanon man, entered the waterway at the Jonestown Dam and the strong currents drug him underwater. The Victim was found downstream by the members of the Jonestown Fire & Rescue Department.

Lebanon City

Public Drunkenness – A 32 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 13, 2020 at 5:48 p.m. on the 1,300 block of Cumberland St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 25 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Disorderly Conduct (loud music from vehicle) on June 11, 2020 at 7:08 p.m. on the 800 block of Mifflin St.

Public Drunkenness – A 39 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 9, 2020 at 10:32 p.m. on the 100 block of South 9th St.

Public Drunkenness – A 57 year old with no permanent address has been cited for Public Drunkenness on June 14, 2020 at 9:59 p.m. on the 00 block of South 8th St.

Harassment – A 26 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Harassment after an incident on May 17, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. on the 100 block of North 9th St.

Disorderly Conduct – A 53 year old Lebanon resident has been cited for Disorderly Conduct on May 29, 2020 at 4:40 a.m. on the 600 block of Canal St.

Sexual Assault, Incident Assault, Simple Assault, Strangulation – Michael Cotton Jr., a 39 year old Lebanon resident, has been charged with Rape, Sexual Assault, Incident Assault, Simple Assault (domestic violence related), and Strangulation after an incident on June 9, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. on the 300 block of North 5th St. Cotton is accused of assaulting the 35 year old Victim by punching and then holding his forearm across her neck, preventing her from breathing. He is accused of having sexual intercourse with the Victim against her will. The Victim was treated at a local medical facility. Cotton and the Victim do know each other from a previous relationship. Cotton was apprehended at about 7:20 p.m. and transported to LCCB. He was arraigned before MDJ Kim Wolfe and incarcerated at LCCF in lieu of $50,000 bail. On June 17, 2020 at 8:33 p.m., police responded to a complaint of a Protection From Abuse Order violation. Cotton is accused of having a third party connect him to the Victim’s phone. The Victim had acquired a PFA against Cotton after the initial incident. Cotton is accused of violating the PFA by telephone, leaving a voice message for the Victim on her phone. Cotton was arraigned via video arraignment.

Retail Theft – A charge of Retail Theft has been filed against a 41 year old Lebanon resident after an incident on June 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. at Dollar General, located on 950 Church St. She is accused of taking merchandise from the store totaling $28.62.

Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury – Charges of Accidents Involving Death or Personal Injury, Obedience to Traffic Control Devices, and Duty of Driver in Construction and Maintenance Areas have been filed against Lee Keller, a 49 year old Lebanon resident, after investigation into an incident on April 29, 2020 at 3:09 p.m. at 8th St. and Cumberland St. Keller is accused of driving into a construction zone and then stopped by a construction worker. Keller is also accused of striking the construction worker with his vehicle after a verbal argument. Keller fled the scene after the incident. The construction worker received a minor injury to his back as a result of the incident.

Drug Possession, Public Drunkenness – Charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Public Drunkenness have been filed against Eric Hitz, a 28 year old Lebanon resident, after contact with police on May 16, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. on the 400 block of North 9th St.

DUI, Careless Driving – Charges of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or a Controlled Substance and Careless Driving have been filed against Sukhdeep Hans, a 45 year old Lebanon resident, after a single vehicle traffic accident on May 9, 2020 at 12:39 a.m. at North 3rd Ave. and East Lehman St. Hans refused to submit to a blood alcohol test. Hans has four previous convictions for DUI.

Millcreek Township

Assault – On June 18, 2020 at 8:13 a.m., PSP Jonestown troopers responded to Newburg Dr. for a report of an active domestic. Investigation revealed the Arrestee, a 61 year old Newmanstown man, utilized a coffee mug and struck one of the Victims in the face several times, causing severe lacerations and a possible broken nose. In addition, two other Victims were injured by the Arrestee during the altercation which include a possible dislocated shoulder. The Victims were a 58 year old Newmanstown man, a 67 year old Newmanstown woman, and a 51 year old Newmanstown woman.

Myerstown Borough

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – On June 19, 2020 at 1:06 p.m., troopers of PSP Jonestown Station responded to East Stoever Ave. for a report of a criminal mischief. Upon arrival on scene, it was determined the Victim’s vehicle, a 2018 Chevrolet Trax, had a small dent on the driver’s side door. This investigation is ongoing.

North Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – Alejandro Escobar, an 18 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Possession of Marijuana after an incident that occurred on June 13, 2020 at Lion’s Lake Park.

DUI – Abimael Pagen-Vera, a 34 year old Lebanon resident, was charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol after an incident that occurred on May 31, 2020 in the 1,800 block of East Lehman St.

Reckless Endangerment – Jeffrey Woelfling, a 62 year old, was charged with Recklessly Endangering, Criminal Mischief, and Accidents Involving Damage to Attended Property after a traffic accident that occurred on May 7, 2020 on Route 72 at Old Ebenezer Rd.

North Londonderry Township

Township Ordinance – On June 15, 2020, a 38 year old Palmyra man was cited for Allowing Excess Accumulation of Household Garbage at his residence, located on the 200 block of Gravel Hill Rd.

South Lebanon Township

Drug Possession – On June 19, 2020 at 4:22 p.m., PSP Jonestown received an investigation request from the LCCF involving an inmate with possible contraband. The investigation is ongoing.

Swatara Township

Drug Manufacture – On June 6, 2020 at 8:39 p.m., PSP Jonestown stopped Unit 1, a 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier at Old Jonestown Rd. and New Bunkerhill Rd. Investigation revealed Operator 1 and the Passenger, Justine Neidig, a 50 year old Tremont woman, and Robert Bain, a 60 year old Tremont man, to be in possession of illegally possessed Schedule II prescription narcotics. The Passenger was also in possession of marijuana and related paraphernalia, while Operator 1 was believed to be operating Unit 1 while under the influence of a combination of alcohol and illegal drugs. The Passenger admitted to selling the pills and marijuana and was arrested for Drug Possession With Intent to Deliver. Operator 1 consented to a legal blood draw. Charges are pending the blood results.

Vehicle Accident – On June 15, 2020 at 3:02 p.m., this single vehicle crash occurred along Sweetbriar Ln. This crash occurred as Unit 1, a 2002 GMC 1500, was traveling north on Sweetbriar Ln. Operator 1 reached to get a sandwich in Unit 1 and struck MetEd Pole 766-292. The fiberglass pole was knocked completely over. No damage was observed on Unit 1 and Unit 1 was driven from the scene under its own power. No injuries were reported on scene.

Vehicle Accident – On June 8, 2020 at 6:46 p.m., Unit 1 was entering Grace Ave. from Water St. Unit 2, a 2011 Mazda CX9, driven by Operator 2, a 22 year old Lebanon woman, was traveling south on Grace Ave., approaching the intersection with Water St. Unit 1 failed to clear the intersection and struck Unit 2. Unit 1 then turned left and traveled north on Grace Ave. and fled the scene. Unit 2 continued forward and came to a controlled stop and a private driveway just south of the intersection. This crash caused minor damage to Unit 2’s passenger’s side bumper and fender. Unit 1 is suspected to have minor damage to its driver’s side bumper and fender. Operator 2 was not injured as a result of this crash.

Criminal Mischief Under $1,000 – Between the hours of June 16, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. and June 17, 2020 at 8:00 a.m., an Actor(s) approached the Victim’s residence on the 200 block of Monroe Valley Dr. by unknown means and vandalized the windshield of the Victim’s vehicle, a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander. The Actor(s) then fled the scene in an unknown direction by unknown means. The Victim was a 66 year old Bethel man. The investigation is ongoing.

Union Township

Vehicle Accident – On June 7, 2020 at 3:55 p.m., this two vehicle crash occurred in a parking lot located directly south of the 100 block of Green Point School Rd. Unit 1, a 2019 Subaru Outback, driven by Operator 1, a 65 year old Reamstown man, was backing out of his parking stall and struck Unit 2, a 2019 Ford Fusion, who was legally parked in the neighboring parking stall directly west of Unit 1’s parking stall. Unit 1 sustained minor damage at its 7 o’clock position (rear bumper on the driver’s side) and Unit 2 sustained minor damage at its 1 o’clock position (passenger’s side fender). No injuries were reported.

Theft – This incident occurred between June 5, 2020 at 12:01 a.m. and June 14, 2020 at 8:24 a.m. as an unknown Actor(s) did remove the Victim’s Pennsylvania Registration Plate ZPH8775 from the Victim’s vehicle, a 2006 Ford F-150XLT, on Melanie Ln. The Victim was a 39 year old Jonestown man. The registration plate is valued at $50.

Drug Possession – On June 17, 2020 at 11:23 a.m., PSP Jonestown initiated a traffic stop on a 2015 PT Cruiser at SR 72 and Clearview Ln. It was determined that the driver was under the influence and was in possession of THC oil. Charges are pending.

West Lebanon Township

Drug Possession, Retail Theft – Elizabeth Wilson, a 22 year old Elizabethtown woman, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Retail Theft after an incident at the Boscov’s in the Lebanon Valley Mall, in which she failed to pay for $26 worth of merchandise.
