Rather than postponing or canceling their fundraising event due to COVID-19, as many other organizations have done, Lebanon Family Health Services (LFHS) will host its Splash of Color fundraiser virtually.

Splash of Color, one of the organizationโ€™s most significant fundraising events, will raise money for LFHS by auctioning off artwork submitted by local artists. The auction will begin Saturday, June 27 at 6:30 p.m. and conclude on Sunday, June 28 at 6:30 p.m., but pre-bidding is also available for selected works.

To participate in the auction, people will need to create an e-bidder account on the event website. More in-depth instructions on creating an account are available on the LFHS site. Once bidders have created their account, they will be free to bid on items in the auction catalog.

There are currently 59 pieces of art available to bid on, including sculptures, hand-made jewelry, decorations, and paintings. There may also be more to choose from at the start of the event, as LFHS is still accepting donations of auction items.ย

A sushi plate made by Joan Terwilliger. Starting bid $18, valued at $70.
Painting of the Union Canal Tunnel by Jean Zaun. Starting bid $150, valued at $600.
Gift basket from Timeless Cafe. Valued at $81.75, leading bid currently at $30.

In addition to bidding in the auction, event participants will also have the opportunity to buy a sponsorship or donate money directly to LFHS.

LFHS is a non-profit organization that provides affordable education, nutrition, and reproductive health services to families in Lebanon County who are uninsured or under-insured. They focus primarily on women, infants and children.

By participating in the Splash of Color event, the people of Lebanon County have the opportunity to support this organization and get artwork made by local artists.
